Step 3 of 5

Gather your writing templates

On event day, we'll build a universal writing tool that uses YOUR templates and produces documents in YOUR voice. To make this work, gather your best templates ahead of time.

Bring at least 3 of these (more is better)

Check the ones you have. You don't need every type — pick the ones your team uses most.

How to format them

  • File format: .docx, .pdf, or .txt — any of these work
  • Use final versions — the actual ones you use, not generic samples
  • Don't redact specifics — your templates only ever live on your own computer
  • If a template has placeholders like [Client Name] or __________, leave them — Claude Code will detect them automatically

Where to save them

Create a folder on your desktop called “Level 2 Templates”. Save all template files in this folder.

Pro tip: The more variety you bring, the more useful the writing tool becomes. A demand letter alone is fine. Five different templates makes the tool replace half a paralegal.
